QT and Head Trauma, a Housecall

Not long ago during a QT session focussing on some arthritic shoulders of a favorite client, I happened to mention to her that I thought that Quantum Touch and Reiki were not only good for chronic issues like hers but particularly powerful in first aid situations.

I wasn't sure why I told her that until a bit later.

Not more than a handful of hours after leaving from her appointment the client calls me. She said she had been on her way to the emergency room because she had hit her head. Two miles into the drive to the hospital she told her husband to turn around and go back home. She wanted to call me instead. She remembered what  I said about first aid.

Gulp.

I asked all the pertinent medical questions of course, and told her I would be right over. When I got to her home she was visibly shaken. Her breathing was fast, her pulse elevated. She was talking excitedly and was distracted and concerned and a little nauseated. She had stood up into an open cabinet door. There was an open slightly bloody wound, but it did not appear to need stitches. She had deep throbbing pain and some dizziness.

The "traditionalist" that still resides within me somewhere was screaming to put the woman back in the car and get her to the ER. The angels assured me everything was going to be fine. Who to listen to?

I chose the angels.

We sat together on her bed and I held my hands around her head. Archangel Michael and Raphael were nearby. This situation clearly called for the Yin type of Quantum Touch...the quiet receptive space that creates the possibility for healing. I could feel the pulsing vibrations of her head pain emanating out of her, without even touching her directly. I went into that place inside of my head, the core space, focusing on my own pineal gland and opened myself up to the possibility and wonder of healing. No forcing, no making, no doing...just allowing.

In a matter of about 10 minutes the sharp, dagger-like visual forms and pulsating waves of pain I sensed from her just stopped completely. I dropped my hands and said, "I think we are finished."

My friend opened her eyes and blinked a couple of times. "Its gone. Its GONE. Every bit of pain is completely gone." She stood up. "I am not dizzy. I feel fine. I feel more than fine. I feel wonderful."

I love it when this happens. Calmly she walked me to the door and I gave her a hug and told her to call me in the morning. When she did, I expected her to say she was a little sore but much better. When we did speak, she actually told me that the pain disappeared so completely she had forgotten the whole incident when she woke up in the morning and she hadn't felt a pinch of residual pain, at all, and the skin was barely inflamed around the wound. She told me even more days later she never felt a bit of pain after our session despite the small lump and cut.

This healing skill is available to everyone, by the way. Its not a special talent. Its a birthright.

The Reluctant Healer

I never set out to heal anyone else but myself. I just wanted to be well so I could get back to the things I love; my family, my horses, my creative pursuits.

It took a long time for me to realize that my health battles were not to be won just so I could get back to my own life and put healing out of my mind. I was supposed to be a healer for others all along.

I just wasn't listening.

Likely one reason it was hard to accept at first is the idea that healers are somehow special or "chosen". I sure didn't think that described me at all. I didn't like the label or its lofty connotations. But we must drop the mystique around that word: healer. Those involved in the healing arts understand that the real power to heal lies not within the healer at all.

All healing is self-healing. The best healers are in truth just very good facilitators or guides who help people heal all by themselves.

Today I use reiki, quantum touch energy healing and past life regression therapy regularly to help others  find a better place to be or a little more peace in their lives. My work volunteering for NILMDTS is yet another way I am able to help others heal. Without exception, every instance where I am able to be that guide for someone else brings extra healing directly to me as well.

Alain Herriott on Perception and Consciousness

My gifted, gentle, and amazingly generous teacher in all things Quantum Touch and Energy is a man named Alain Herriott.

I have the pleasure of looking forward to attending yet another of Alain's workshops in Core Transformation that is being held in Houston in just a couple of weeks. Alain also gives teleseminars through the QT website.

Today while working at my desk I had the pleasure of listening to Alain's latest teleseminar where he speaks about seeing and perceiving energy. Alain has an amazing gift that he promises lies dormant in each of us. He can actually see energy in shapes and colors. In previous classes he shows how he can see colors and shapes that students create around them with their own energy! (Humorously I recall how hard it was for the men in the class to mentally produce the color magenta...ha)

Alain tells his students:

"The number one impediment to seeing and perceiving energy is doubt."

When I first took a class with Alain, I had plenty of doubt. I didn't see energy very well at all and I was certain, being such a visual person, an artist and photographer, that if I were to perceive energy, it would be by seeing. Turns out I am much better at feeling energy and am naturally empathic. Once I accepted and embraced this realization, my perception began to grow.

This skill has been most helpful in my regression sessions, and honestly, in general every day life. People give off waves of energy at times that belie the words that come out of their mouths. Also, I have learned to trust energy perceptions from people who are physically hundreds of miles or even thousands of miles away. Distance makes no difference whatsoever.

"We are in reality one consciousness that's pretending to be separate."

Core Transformation, a Quantum Touch Workshop

Three days in Houston proved to be, if you pardon the pun, just what the doctor ordered.

Quantum Touch's premier teacher, Alain Herriott took 14 of us on a trip inside our own head to find the "yin" place that is open and receptive to amazing healing. As a bonus, this class as in most QT events, the participants are filled with not only love and generosity, but wonder and awe, and also much gratitude. Such a gathering is ripe not only for making new friends or deepening existing relationships, but also for capturing ORBS!

Here is my favorite image from the final day of class.

A triple overlay of orbs hover over Alain's shoulder and upon closer inspection, seem to offer a lovely pyramid shape in their combination. Sacred Geometry? Well why not?

As I left the classroom I had to restrain myself from asking the participants in an adjacent meeting room if I could take a few quick photos to see if any orbs were present or floating around their group.  I didn't think those studying traditional medical approaches to cardiovascular conditions would have been either amazed or amused if I had. Rumor has it some nurses and other professionals actually are learning energy healing, so who knows? Maybe I would have been surprised.
