Well the US Food and Drug Administration has a test and rating. Its called LD50.
Its the very first test any substance submitted to the FDA must pass. It simply means the dosage that will kill 50% of the lab animals it is given to. If a substance isn’t toxic enough to kill 50% of the animals (hence the Lethal Dose, 50% or LD50 rating) then it cannot, under any circumstance be deemed a medicine or a drug.
Please allow me to shorten this information to a profound statement of fact:
If a substance doesn't kill, It is considered to be a food, not a medicine!
Now you know why so many people are killed each year by “medicine”.
I mean truly, why in the world would you insist on say, buying organic food, or using cosmetics or shampoo not tested on animals, if you still ingest these other chemicals we have the FDA label as medicine? You may as well be sipping pesticide with your meal. And doesn't that knowledge also just make you feel all warm and fuzzy for the lab animals? Do consider these facts when you fill your prescription or even grab a bottle of Tylenol for your headache.
Please at least stop thinking like sheep, even if you do pop a Tylenol! It and other drugs are simply not as harmless as we have been led by big pharma to believe. These substances, even over-the-counter preparations, alter your body chemistry in most profound way.
Humans and animals too, deserve a more evolved view of health and well-being than this.
