Hello Dream Fun Experiment 13 Participants.
The Key was a pair of EYEGLASSES:
There were very special reasons I chose this item to be the key. These glasses are quite old, 22 years to be exact, and belonged to my late brother Randy. There is a bit of a story and more photos to explain my choice and also other connections that I believe were made during the experiment by several of the participants. Dream Fun Experiment 13 Key Reveal Details:
The very moment I read the words in the email where Bill asked me to be keyholder, the image of these glasses flashed before my eyes. I thought they would be a good choice because they not only represent, but I believe, actually physically contain many thoughts, emotions and memories, powerful feelings that I thought would make a strong dreamtime beacon. These eyeglasses are the most personal item I have left from my brother Randy. He was killed suddenly in 1989 at the age of 26. He was basically run over by a teenager who was drag racing on a busy city street. He was NOT wearing these glasses at the time of his death. As horrifying as the death of my only sibling and my parent's only son was at the time, I do understand now it was absolutely a choice made by my brother (and in part, by his family as well). I have spoken to him in my dreams and I know our love and connection is eternal and I am at peace with his passing, but I still do miss him terribly. Here is the eyeglass case where I kept his glasses...it is filled with some crystals, 3 reiki symbol stones and tumbled colored quartz crystals, representing the chakras.
There were many mentions of colored glass and also reiki and chakras by participants, and also many of glass and windows.... The white towel was also specifically seen by participants I think! It had these words printed on it "Delta Gamma Rose Formal 1988" And Bill mentioned a fraternity specifically. It was a momento of Randy's from his fraternity days. Here is a photo of Randy at about age 13, and a bit later when he was in his 20's. My dad has taken us deep sea fishing to Port Aransas Texas every summer since 1976. We have continued the tradition even after my brother died, but we miss him especially during this summer event. Here in the first photo he is holding a sand shark, but we primarily fish for and catch Mackerel, King Mackerel and the smaller Spanish Mackerel, which I am holding in the third photo, a current photo from 2008.
When focusing on the key leading up to and for the night of the experiment, I visualized me and Randy at the beach at Port Aransas after a wonderful day of fishing for mackerel and watching the dolphins play in the ocean. I wondered if people might see the key, the eyeglasses or see THROUGH my brother's eyes...see scenes from his life or from fishing at the ocean. All of the fish and dolphin references, and starfish too, lead me to think that this did happen!! I include the photos of him to see if any of you recognize him from your dreams. I would love to hear about it if you did. Two more photos: These for Geoff especially, where in his dream he wrote. "ornate victorian pipes,valves, and machinery seem to grow from out of the walls." This really describes the outer visual workings of the oil tankers and platform barges that pass us by as we fish. The first photo is a recent one of mine from last year; a tanker heading out of the jetties to the gulf. The second is an older one, me in younger days (ha) out fishing with a tanker in the background.
Thanks all for the opportunity to play! I know I made this probably the most personal and emotional DFE so far, but in my view, emotions are pivotal in dreams and I had hoped they would make this experience powerful for us all!
